You don't come for "an escape room". You come to live The Secrets of Béthencourt: a historical thriller around Marie-Victoire de Béthencourt (1876-1942), the manor's last lady. A whole evening of puzzles, dinner together, a night on site, breakfast at the manor the next morning. It is the first escape game hotel in Northern France.
The manor is yours alone: 650 m², eleven game rooms, six bedrooms. No other group, no sixty-minute timer. You set the pace — when you dine, when you sleep, when you leave.
For which occasions
- Milestone birthdays (30, 40). An evening like no other, and a memory the group retells for months.
- Stag and hen parties. A full night to live together, away from the usual formats — without leaving the North.
- Reunions with friends. The perfect excuse to gather a scattered group for a night in a manor.
- A weekend with family or close ones. From 6 to 12 people, younger and seasoned players alike — everyone finds a place in the investigation.
How it works
You arrive in the late afternoon, around 5 pm. The game master welcomes you, assigns the bedrooms, sets the story in motion. Dinner together in the manor's kitchen.
At night, the investigation takes over the whole house. Eleven rooms, 650 m² of playable space, seven hours of actual puzzles. Everyone contributes in their own way. When you're done, you sleep on site. Breakfast under the glass roof, departure around 11 am. Eighteen shared hours in all — not a one-hour outing.
